Dear Coaches, -“Universal Wisdom” – tapping into it and trusting it, is one of the aspects in our personal development. We are continuously inspired or challenged to tap into these assets throughout the coaching process.

Years ago I visited an old wise man in Jerusalem. People crowded outside his room to listen to each word that came out of his mouth. While sitting there quietly respecting the holiness of the place and the moment, the door opened and he stepped out of his room, while passing by, he bended over me and whispered in my ear: " Be Wise! “ He ordered, and moved on. I was young, frightened and shy. My eagerness to learn was energized by his attention; choosing me out of the crowd to whisper these words to. How can you order someone to 'Be Wise’?

From that moment on, I started investigating, listening even deeper to the environment - to the voices within, disregarding my ego. I became very patient with people around me. Sometimes I kept still, waiting for events to realize themselves even though I wanted to influence their outcome, trusting all the time that inner voice. Slowly I allowed myself to be wise, and then I discovered that when we allow ourselves to "Be Wise" - we inspire others to "Be Wise" - wisdom is about the greatness of the soul, the universal love and compassion, the intuitive connectedness of each one of us to the accumulated wisdom of ancient knowledge and trust of it.

Isn't this what coaching is all about? New ideas/ New perspectives/ New ways of self-perception/ Consideration of new possibilities. We have a chance as coaches to help our clients create New realities.

We can help them discover their natural wisdom, inspire them to trust it, support their efforts and make them believe in their greatness, expect more of them than they do of themselves, and help them discover a reality where it may not have been conceived when they started their coaching process, maybe it felt unsafe at first, but this is where all the great possibilities exist, and this is where their wisdom is being acknowledged.

With Great Joy,
